Why is Google Pay appearing instead of Apple Pay on my product pages?

Hey everybody,

I have the problem that on my product pages and on the checkout page that always Google pay is showing.
I‘ve tried in in Safari on Mac, iPhone and iPad and on the product page is always Google Pay instead of Apple Pay. The same is on the checkout page.

Does anyone know there is a option I forgot?

I‘m using the preview, the website is still password protected.

Hi Ryan,

We ran into the same issue with one of our agency clients recently. Both Google Pay and Apple Pay were enabled, but Google Pay was showing up in Safari browsers and Apple Pay was not. The solution was to disable and then enable Apple Pay in Shopify Payments, saving between the changes. This doesn’t make any sense, but it worked! Apple Pay is now showing up as expected in Safari browsers.
