Why is high traffic not leading to sales on my online store?

Hi everyone.. not sure if my last question posted because I don’t see it but anyways…

I’ve had my store up for just over two months now and I’ve been running ads via social media so I’ve been seeing tons of traffic to my online shop sometimes 100 visitors in a day however it’s not converting to any sales. does anyone have any suggestions or does anyone else experience this problem?i’ve had my store up for just over two months now and I’ve been running ads via social media so I’ve been seeing tons of traffic to my online shop sometimes 100 visitors in a day however it’s not converting to any sales. does anyone have any suggestions or does anyone else experience this problem?

Hi @kwylie92 ! Kate here from the PageFly Shopify Landing Page Builder App.

I really like the font you’ve chosen; it adds an elegant touch to your store.

Drawing on my experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), I suggest several strategies to improve your conversion rates and draw in more customers. Key areas to concentrate on are:

HOMEPAGE

1. Header

The header is not visible on the page due to its positioning. Please adjust it and consider using your customer data to create a navigation menu that efficiently directs users to your most profitable pages.

2. Our mission section

You appeal to shoppers who value the story and the people behind the products. They are interested in learning who you are and why they should choose your products. Consider adding an image to this section to enhance the connection.

3. Sale promotion banner

It’s great that you provide 10% off all orders along with free shipping, as customers are always drawn to sales. However, the current content and design of this section do not emphasize the sale effectively. Consider using a different color to make this offer more prominent.

4. Collection list

The design, images, and content in this section are unclear, making it difficult for customers to understand which collections are available. Consider revising these elements to enhance clarity and guide customers more effectively.

5. Add more section and information

The footer is missing essential information such as contact details, shipping information, and the return policy.

The homepage is missing the product list section. Consider adding a section that lists products, allowing you to highlight bestsellers or feature related items.

PRODUCT PAGE

The product descriptions are overly lengthy. Please consider condensing them and emphasizing the key details.

Additionally, ensure that the product price and the ‘add to cart’ button are clearly visible.

PROMOTION

With Mother’s Day around the corner, take this chance to showcase your products. Redecorate your store with Mother’s Day decorations to attract customers and enhance their shopping experience.

  • Create gift guides or collections tailored to various types of mothers or their interests, helping customers select the ideal gift.
  • Use countdown timers or limited-time promotions to create urgency, prompting faster purchase decisions as Mother’s Day approaches.

I trust these recommendations will assist in enhancing your website’s conversion rate.

Wishing you tremendous success in your online business endeavors.
