Why is my Buy X Get Y discount code not working on selected products?

Hi there!

I’m running a discount of the Buy X Get Y type. It has a purchase amount threshold and is set up to work on multiple collections. The customer will get 1 item for free, the promotion is active and everything looks correct on backend. However, when adding the code to the cart, it says that the discount code isn’t applicable to the product in the cart, despite the fact that those products are a part of those collections chosen and above the purchase amount threshold.

Has anyone had this issue before? Can you please advise if I can fix this problem somehow?

Hi @TanjaLoyche ,

The Buy X, Get Y discount will require all products to be added to the cart in order to apply as expected. Please ensure both items (Buy X, Get Y) are included in the cart at checkout, prior to adding the discount code.
