Why is my Dawn theme sale badge not showing?

Hi all,

I’m using Dawn theme for my shop here: tracieandrews.com. I’ve enabled a 20% discount on all my products, but the sale badge or price strikethrough is not showing on collection pages or product pages.

I would be really grateful if someone could tell me what I’ve missed and how to fix it!

I think you need to edit the codes for this but if you have a product you wish to show discount you can change the retail and new price which shows sale sign and strike through

Hi,

Thanks for the replies. From what I’ve figured out, to show discounts on individual products I would have to apply a sale to an individual product variant. Whereas I just applied a discount in shopifys discount section which won’t show up on individual products, but will be applied at checkout. As you said, I think this can only be shown by editing the code. I’m not keen on editing the code so I think I’ll stick with it as it is. Naively I just assumed it would be an automatic thing.
