My store has been open for 3 months now and I have 1376 sessions this last month and 1823 overall, 46 customers reached checkout but no one is buying anything! I’m always updating the website for a smooth experience but im not getting sales and its gotten frustrating. Is this a sign to give up on my store?
Your site looks great. I took a look around and completed a test of your checkout, and it seems like you have address line 2 as a required field. Address line 2 is for apartment/unit numbers; if your customer does not have a unit number, they will not be able to checkout. You can change this section in the checkout form to optional by going to your Settings > Checkout, scrolling down to Form options> Address line 2, and clicking Optional.
I recommend organizing your products and collections into your main menu navigation. This will make your site more accessible to your customers. To do this, I suggest creating a drop-down menu from your Products menu tab. Your drop-down menu can have product categories or collections, whichever you think is best. I will provide an example below for you.
You can adjust your main menu navigation by going to Online Store > Navigation and clicking the Main menu.
Adjusting these two areas on your store will create a more accessible and easy-to-navigate site for your customers, which should turn your high customer traffic into paying customers. Please let me know if you have any further questions! I would love to learn more about your business plans. Do you currently have a marketing strategy in place?
