I have exported theme from one store to another and home page template appears as 404 error. Could you help me with that?

Thank you for sharing your question with our network. I’d be glad to help you investigate this further.
It is not recommended that you share theme exports between stores, especially if the theme you are using is a paid option. This is because theme licenses are distributed to the purchasing store, and any exported versions may not work and will be ultimately flagged. This is further outlined in our Terms of Service.
If you are using a free Shopify-developed theme it is still best to import a new version of it into your store directly from the Theme Store. Particularly if you are working with a customized version of your theme this can prevent future use errors such as what you are experiencing.
Please let me know if you are having trouble working with importing a blank copy of your theme or if I’ve misunderstood your needs here.

Yes, I have a problem with free template that I imported from another store. It caused an 404 error on home page.

As I shared earlier, importing a theme template from another store can cause issues due to customizations and other unforeseen changes. For the best experience, please download the free theme from our Theme Store directly from the second store you are working on.
