When searching through Google, my site is being redirected to Merchant Genius site. Why is that and how can I fix it?

When searching for my website, “www.giftsbyambi.com” through Google, it either goes directly to the merchant genius website or a list with them being the first one. When using Duck Duck Go, my site comes up directly or is the first on the list. I have verified my account through Google Search Console if that makes any difference.

I do see what you mean by searching your store via Google, your website pops up as the first result but the second listing is indeed the Merchant Genius website:
I would recommend reaching out to the website owner directly and asking them to remove your store from their database. It appears that the website is driven by AI and machine-learning enhanced algorithms that scan for new Shopify stores. I found contact details in the footer of their homepage along with a “Shop Removal Request” link:

That option won’t work, if using a Mac go to Safari - select settings - Privacy - ensure you have ticked website tracking & Hide IP address. Click on Manage Website Data - browse sites that are tracking you and storing data, remove the sites
