Having an issue with customer accounts interacting properly with shipping rule (free shipping over $250) and entering discount codes. When you check out as a guest, there’s a seamless process that will automatically remove shipping if the order total is over $250 and you are also able to use a discount code to checkout.
For some reason, when you log into a customer account, however, the shipping cost is not removed even when the order reaches over $250 and you’re also not able to enter a discount code (only able to use a gift card code).
Not sure how to trouble shoot this-- I can code and look into liquid, but I’m not sure what would be causing this, so not sure where to look.
Are you using a third-party app to control your store’s customer account or discount codes?
If so, you can try to disable the app’s features if it’s available to do so within the app, to see if the issue will be fixed. You can also try and install a fresh copy of a Shopify theme by going to Online store > Themes > Explore free themes and select a theme to add to your library. From there, click on Actions > Preview, and you can then test the scenario again on your end to see if the shipping cost and discount code will function correctly when logged in to a customer account.
If the issues don’t persist on the fresh theme, a third-party app may be interfering with how your store is meant to function. If you or a developer working on your store have made any code changes recently to your theme, the newly added code may also be the cause of this issue.
