Why isn't Google Shopping approving my products?

I cannot seem to make Google Shopping happy in regard to my products! I get notified everyday of Google not approving my products. I have added MPN’s, colors, sizes, age groups, materials, gender identification. The same products over and over again not being “accepted”! Please help!

There could be many reasons for your disapproval. However the following rule should be followed.

If the manufacturer has assigned a barcode, then add this + brand and set identifier exists to yes.

If no, then remove brand, mpn, gtin and set identifier exists to no.

To check what Google is receiving, go to Google Merchant Center > Products > all products > click on a product > scroll to the bottom and view the final attributes.

If you need to clear all the data, ie remove brand, mpn and gtin, and setting identifier exists to no, you can use feed rules here: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/7450276?hl=en

If this fixes your issue, I would not know, as each product and business is different.

On my Google product page I have this: as you can see it says there are 2 unapproved products.

Then I have this on my Shopify page: this states 11 products did not publish to Google:

This is the information I entered into the Google fields: If it’s NOT a custom product, why does it need a MPN? Also, no product I have uploaded from Aliexpress has a barcode. How am I supposed to enter a GTIN if there isn’t one? or a barcode if there isn’t one?

If you have no barcodes, that means you need to toggle custom products.
