Why isn't my new domain showing up on Google search?

Hi folks.

Ive chosen a new domain through shopify and linked it to my store.

It does work, in as much as it brings the store up.

However. If I just type www. and name of store and .co.uk

it is not showing on google search.

Instead I have to put http//www.

Surely it should be found with just www.

Any clues guys?

Your domain is still new and it may not registered with Google Search yet. Try to register your website here, https://search.google.com/search-console/about and see what happen next!
