Why isn't my shipping profile displaying carrier options on Shopify?

I am new to Shopify and these days I am making my Shopify site. Setting up shipping rates is very complicated. But it is very important and must do very correctly.

I followed several video tutorials on setting up shipping rates and went for apply settings to my site. But I found some features not displays in my set up profile.

    1. Only ‘Custom Package’ tab displays for my Local Shipping Set up. But I have seen another ‘Carrier Package’ tab in the tutorials I followed. I need to get the ‘Carrier Package’ tab display and configure carrier options by selecting drop-down menu. The following screenshot I got from a tutorial. Why it is missing in my Shipping Set up and how I can get it? That is my 1st question.
  1. When I go to add rates to International Shipping Zones after creating those Shipping Zones the drop-down shipping options (as on the screenshot below) not display on my profile. I get there a blank field or Blank menu. How can I get it like in the screenshot.

Please help me giving a solution to the above. Thanks.

Why silence? Only I had this problem? Had nobody experience this problem or is there no solution?

Hi, @wapw .

Where is your business located?

Both of the features you mentioned require Shopify Shipping. If your business doesn’t have any fulfilment locations from one of the supported regions, then at this stage your store won’t have access to the functionalities of Shopify Shipping.

A workaround for this is to install a third-party shipping app from the Shopify App Store. There are many shipping apps you can choose from, however a couple of popular and highly-rated ones that I recommend taking a closer look at are Advanced Shipping Rules and Parcelify. Advanced Shipping Rules has a Lite option for $9 USD per month that you can look into, to see if that will suit your specific business needs. Otherwise Parcelify is perhaps one of the more affordable options for $19.99 USD per month. If you have any further questions concerning the apps I mentioned however, do get in touch with their support team as they’re best equipped to answer app-specific queries.

As you mentioned, shipping is a highly important aspect of running a business. It may take time to get right, but once you do it will definitely help with the smooth-running of your overall business operations. To help optimise your shipping strategies, I’ve curated a few resources you can take a look at. Feel free to have a good read of them below:
