according to my google search console, the scan through my sitemap is complete but none of the pages are indexed on Google. Doing a site:standouthairco.com on google shows none of my links are indexed. Is there an easy fix?
Hi @anpanman
It will take a time after indexing your store before you can search it on Google organic search. I can see a product page indexed and appeared. I also recommend you add favicon for your store so it will appear next to your store URL instead of Shopify favicon
Hello @anpanman
After the scan of your store, Google will push your pages into the queue for indexing later. It can take weeks before your pages can be indexed.
Be patient and hope you the best!
Yes, there are a few things you can do to fix this issue.
- Wait a few days. It can take some time for Google to index all of the pages on your site. If you have recently submitted your sitemap to Google Search Console, it may take a few days for the scan to complete and for the pages to be indexed.
- Check the indexing status in Google Search Console. In Google Search Console, go to the Indexing tab and check the Index Coverage report. This report will show you which pages have been indexed and which pages have not been indexed. If any of your pages are not indexed, you can try to troubleshoot the issue by following the instructions in the report.
- Submit your sitemap again. If you have recently submitted your sitemap to Google Search Console, you can try submitting it again. This may help to trigger a new scan of your site.
- Check your robots.txt file. Your robots.txt file tells search engines which pages on your site they are allowed to crawl and index. If you have any pages that you do not want to be indexed, you can add them to your robots.txt file.
- Check your crawl budget. Google has a limited amount of resources that it can use to crawl and index websites. If your site is large or has a lot of traffic, you may need to increase your crawl budget. You can do this by contacting Google Search Console support.
Hi Anpanman,
Thanks for reaching out to the community!
Here are a few things to consider:
- Give it some more days: Sometimes, search engine crawlers take time to entirely crawl the website and all its pages. So, you shall wait for a few more days and also check the status on Google Search Console.
- Resubmit XML sitemap after a few days: If the issue continues to persist, then you shall resubmit the XML sitemap to the Google Search Console.
- Check the Robots.txt file: The robots.txt file commands the search engine crawlers to not follow the pages on the file. So, it is recommended that you check the robots.txt file and confirm that you haven’t mistakenly added the pages that you wished to be indexed by the search engine.
- Check the canonical or no-index tags: A canonical tag stops search engine crawlers from crawling and indexing certain content or pages on the website, while a ‘Noindex’ tag stops the search engine crawlers from indexing certain content or pages of the website, and ‘Nofollow’ tag stops the crawlers from following the links on the website. Check if you have used these tags properly.
Hope it helps!

I recommend tools like IndexGuru or similar, which can pretty much index your pages immediately and automatically for you.
A bunch of pages failed due to:
Alternate page with proper canonical tag
Where should i debug this?
