I purchased my domain. My domain won’t connect to my store though I own it. It says my A, CAA, and nameserver record are not right. I have no idea how to solve these issues as I cannot access any DNS information. As far as I know, Shopify is my domain provider.
Hi @lejnbeauty It seems like your domain provider is not shopify but it is a 3rd party domain.
And if it’s a 3rd party domain then you need to match the same A, CAA record in both the platform i.e. shopify and 3rd party domain provider.
Add the same CAA and A record that is showing in the shopify to the 3rd party domain provider so that the domain can attach successfully with your shopify store.
If it’s not a 3rd party domain then you need to connect with shopify support so that they can look into the issue that you are facing. They will solve this issues in minutes or will guide you how you can solve it at your end.

As @sahilsharma9515 has mentioned, if this is a third-party domain, you will need to log into your third-party domain provider account to access your DNS records. You can follow our guide here to correctly point your DNS records to Shopify’s records.

Thank you. I tried looking up the domain provider on different websites and some told me that Shopify was the domain provider. It mentioned another site too, but I have no idea how to access that site or log into it.

It looks as though the domain is using Shopify nameservers and most records point to Shopify’s records. However, the A Record is not correct. Could you advise when you purchased the domain? The reason I ask is, during the first 48 hours the domain is still propagating, and it can take up to 48 hours to take effect.
