I bought a 3rd party domain from Bangladesh without any DNS setting options. Domain provider advised to contact Shopify to Set A Records & CNAME Records. How can I get help from Shopify?

From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Domains. Click Connect existing domain. Enter your domain, such as johns-apparel.info , and then click Next. To confirm that your domain is connected to your Shopify store, click Verify connection.

As @Hamill289 mentioned you’ll need to connect your third-party domain through your Shopify admin, Settings > Domains section. You can follow the steps to manually connect your third-party domain through our help center resource.
The A record will need to point to Shopify’s IP address 23.227.38.65.You’ll need to point the CNAME record with the name www to shops.myshopify.com.
Once you’ve connected your domain, it can take up to 48 hours for it to be verified. Once your domain is verified it will be listed within the THIRD-PARTY DOMAINS section of your Domains page with the status Connected. I’ll also share our resource for changing your primary domain if you decide to set your third-party domain as your primary.

I’m concerned about adding my domain to Shopify.
My registrar is Godaddy but my DNS is controlled by Hostgator.. My Nameservers are pointing to hostgator,
Im planing to point nameservers to Godaddy and then right after point my A records to Shopify from Godaddy.
Am I asking for trouble?
