will not completely load, and I can’t seem to figure out why. This just started happening and is unfortunately a popular item that now can’t be purchased as the page never let you make a selection

Are you using a third-party app to control that particular product, or any of your store’s products?
If so, you can try to disable the app’s features temporarily if it’s available to do so within the app, to see if the issue will be fixed. You can also try and install a fresh copy of a Shopify theme by going to Online store > Themes > Explore free themes and select a theme to add to your library. From there, click on Actions > Preview, and you can then navigate to that product page to see if it will successfully load.
If the issues don’t persist on a fresh Shopify theme, chances are a third-party app is interfering with your product page. If you or a developer working on your store have made any code changes recently to your theme, the newly added code may also be the cause of this issue.
