What I can do from here to assist you is to file a request for the use of Shopify Payments in Turkey internally so our developer teams know this is something our merchants are looking for.

Could you tell me a bit more about your business and anything else you’re working on?

Would you have registered officially as a business there in order to get card payments paid out to you?

I would be so happy if you file a request for the use of Shopify Payments in Turkey. Glad to know that your developer teams internally sensible about this situation.

I would like to tell you about myself and my work. I produce my own product. wall art decor with my own graphic designs which is printed with special technique that i found myself on lazer cut Wooden MDF plates.

I currently have an active Etsy Shop which i would like to share with you via email. I make my global sales through Etsy and I receive with Etsy Payments.

It’s great that Shopify has its own payment system. I want to take advantage of shopify’s payment methods you provide like Apple Pay and Google Pay. That would be so helpful to grown my own business in the global market. Otherwise i should work with Stripe to accept payment from those but Stripe have no service in Turkey. That is the reason Shopify Payments is significant for my business.

I have registered officially company to do my local sales in Turkey. Please let me know which files necessary. I would be happy to share with you for the request.

so happy to read that you are discussing about this topic.

I have startet my shopify onlineshop as well in Turkey and most of my customers will be/are in Europe. Unfortunately in Turkey paypal is not available, it is difficult for companies in turkey to give the customers different payment options and grow business in global market.

Hi @Mhussein ,

I hope this is helpful for you, I actually use the iyzico gateway for payment, it’s a secure payment gateway but only credit card is possible :disappointed_face: The other possibility I offer is bank transfer… But I think many people prefer Shopify Payments and Paypal… @Toorop you are our superhero for Turkey :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I can see you got some feedback already based on @chumani 's experience in this regard, that’s great!

I don’t have first-hand experience in this regard, so would only be able to direct you to consult our list of payment gateways available in Turkey for use with Shopify.

I can also file a request on your part to have Shopify Payments made available where you are if you’re happy to share some info on why this is important to your business.

You mentioned you’re using print-on-demand to sell products, are you looking to sell designs or slogans you created yourself?

Have you selected a specific print-on-demand company you want to work with yet or are you still researching your options?

would be happy if you could please can file a request on my part to have Shopify Payments made available too.

I sell handcrafted jewellery, stock-based. My customers are mainly in Europe, so it’s really important for my business to have shopify payments to serve the European market.

I have used this to file that request for you internally so our developer team is aware our merchants are looking to see this added to the platform in the future.

While we won’t have a timeline to share on the introduction of any features requested in this way I would recommend you keep an eye on our Changelog page here to view any updates to the platform.

I have several stores two in canada and one in Turkiye. There is no problem the ones in Canada but Im having huge problems for the Turkiye store. We are using third party app they are charging us 2.9 percent and shopify charging us 2 for the service they don’t provide. Im not happy with this as I made numerous attempts to resolve this with your customer support. I’m really thinking migrating my store to Turkish Company called ikas unless you resolve the issue

May I ask what app is taking 2.9%? I just opened my store and couldn’t do the payment method due being in Turkey, even tried Iyzico but still asking for Work resident while I am in tourism resident and my store not selling in Turkey

Shopify payments is a big need for stores in Turkey. We can’t use markets efficiently. As a Turkish store owner I can not sell my products in Turkey because my store currency is in USD. Currently Turkish stores can not sell their products in foreign currencies because of Turkish laws.

I contacted with Turkish trade embassy in Toronto to discuss about shopify payments with your company. Still hoping to get a deal about shopify payments in Turkey.

Shopify Türkiye üzerine Shopify Payment kullanılmıyor. Dilerseniz PayTR , Iyzıco, Garanti sanal pos gibi ödeme yöntemlerini tercih edebilirsiniz.

Kullanıyoruz zaten o servislerden birini. Fakat hem çok yüksek komisyonlar alıyorlar üstelik dolar kurunu ceviririken de haksız bir gelir elde ediyorlar. Aldıkları komisyonlar %5 leri buluyor. Buradaki arkadaşlarlarin problemi hep aynı. Zaten rekabet edemiyoruz hem de burada 3-5 firmanın eline düşmüş durumdayız. Ticaret müşavirliği Shopify yetkilileri ile görüştüler fakat herhangi birini r sonuç alınamadı. Şirketlerimizi yurtdışına goturmekten başka çaremiz kalmadı. Zaten bunu başarabilen de bir saniye durmaz burada

Bu konuda malesef üzülerek sizlere katılıyorum. Shopify Payments 'in artık Türkiye 'ye açılması lazım. Global ödeme yöntemi konusunda sıkıntı çekiyor herkes. Paypal kapalı stripe yok, mecburen insanlar ajans üzerinden yabancı firmalar kurmak zorunda kalıyor, üzücü. Umarım en yakın sürede bu durum değişir.

Biz de TR’de Shopify Payments olmadığı için tek çare olarak şirketi yurt dışına taşımayı düşündük ancak Shopify ile görüştüğümüzde yalnızca şirketi taşımanın yeterli olmadığını farkettik.

Ben sitemi dolar kuruna cevirdim. IYZICO kullaniyorum. Biliyorsunuz Turkiye icinde yabanci para birimleri ile satis yapilamiyor. Turkiye’de satis yapmadigim icin bir problem yok su anda. Kisa vadede shopify payments’in Turkiye destegi gelecegini sanmiyorum. Toronto’daki ticari ateselik ile gorustum, bir toplanti yaptiklarini soylediler Shopify’daki yetkililer ile fakat bir sonuc alinamadi. Bence Turkiye’de ise firmaniz en mantiklisi ikinci bir site kurup o sekilde devam etmek.

I really would appreciate your support (English please) My business is handmade soaps. I am also struggling to setup a payment provider in Turkey. I am located in Turkey and have customers in TR and Europe.
Spend already hours to setup and payment provider without success. Any recommendations and experience with an provider in Turkey? Application for PayTR is to complicated getting always an error. Is there any payment provider who does include the shipping or do I need to apply for the shipping separately? Any recommendations for shipping in Tuekey and Europe?
