Wrong format of code for Google Analytics

Hi!

I created a Google Analytics account however I cannot add the code as it is saying the format should be “UA”

I just created the account, how can I add this to Shopify?

What code are you using exactly? Did you create the GA account recently or a while back?

If you created it recently then Google Analytics has generated a new type of embed code that doesn’t work on Shopify’s GA Integration.

You need to go to your theme.liquid file and paste the code there under the part of your code.

Let me know if you start seeing traffic once this is done!
