You can now add Vimeo videos on product pages

You can now add Vimeo videos to your products, giving you more options for displaying media on product pages. Using product media lets your customers see what your products look like and give them a better idea of how they appear in real life.

A second hosting option gives you more control over how you share your business’s content. As an added benefit, Vimeo videos don’t have a “recommended” screen at the end of the video, which keeps the focus on your brand.

To add a video:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Products.
  2. Click a product to see its details page.
  3. Click Add media from URL > Embed video.
  4. Insert your Vimeo-hosted video’s URL.

You can add up to 250 images, 3D models, or videos to a product.

This still doesnt work for me and its been months so I wanted to check her and see if I am missing something. When I add a Vimeo Video to my product is says 'An error occurred" and shows the Youtube logo in the corner so it seems its trying to open the Vimeo video in a Youtube player.

Here is a link to an example product so you can see the result. If this a Theme Issue and update issue? or something I’m just over looking?

Any help would be amazing. I can add these via Metatags but that’s a bit of a pain so this would be so much easier in my daily work flow.
