Can you clarify what kind of payment you are trying to do? Are you trying to place an order on your store or you’re attempting to pay for a Shopify bill?

Thanks for the clarification. Did you ever enable test mode for payments on your store? This might be what’s causing the issue. Which payment gateway are you using specifically?
