Not sure if this is a silly question… But i have been running facebook ads for a while now with a pixel that shopify created for me called “ads pixel for shopify facebook ad” (this was when i first created my account).
However i went into my business manager recently and went to pixels under the data sources tab to find that it said that i didn’t have any pixels, yet i have been running facebook ads for close to a year now and have a pixel that shopify had created for me linked to my facebook.
i am very confused now and hoping somebody can help me out.

There maybe some conflicts between the pixel you have installed on your Shopify store and the one associated with your Facebook Business Manager account.
You may want to check these suggestions:
- Double-check that the Facebook Pixel is installed correctly on your Shopify store: Go to Online Store → Preferences → Facebook Pixel and ensure that your pixel ID is entered correctly.
- Check your Facebook Ads Manager account: Go to Data Source tab → Pixels → If your pixel is not listed, you can add it by selecting “Add” and following the prompts.
- If you have confirmed that the pixel is installed correctly on your Shopify store and connected to your Facebook Ads Manager account, but you still cannot see any data, it’s possible that there’s an issue with the data reporting. You can check the pixel status in the “Pixels” tab

It’s possible that the Facebook Pixel created is not correctly connected to your Facebook Business Manager account. You can follow the below-mentioned steps to ensure that your Facebook Pixel is properly set up.
Log in to your Shopify account and go to the “Online Store” section.
Click on “Preferences” and scroll down to the “Facebook Pixel” section.
Ensure that the toggle switch for “Facebook Pixel” is turned on.
Click on the “Set up Facebook Pixel” button.
Follow the prompts to connect your Facebook account to your Shopify store.
Once you’ve completed the setup process, go back to your Facebook Business Manager account and check to see if the Pixel is now appearing under the “Pixels” section.
