Hi there! When using Authorize.net for subscriptions, when the credit cards get tokenized are those tokens accessible via the Shopify API?
The reason for the question is let’s say a merchant wants to switch from Authorize.net to Shopify Payments for subscriptions.
Can those token’s be ported over via the Shopify API to Shopify Payments or do the tokens have to stay with Authorize.net and only accessible via Authorize.net’s APIs?

Unfortunately, the tokens are not exposed and they can’t be migrated to use with Shopify Payments.
But if you trigger the card update email for those buyers that are on authorize.net, then it would be vaulted on Shopify and usable with either authorize.net or Shopify Payments as a gateway.
Hey Diego - awesome thanks! May you please also confirm that method will only work for Stripe and Authorize.net, but not for Braintree?
If so, what’s the best method to have customers update the payment method for Braintree to Shopify Payments?
