The current domain that i have is on the Godaddy , but I cannot create a email for it because it is not linked to a hosting plan.. If I transfer the domain to Shopify , can I create a free domain email?

I’m afraid email hosting isn’t something that we offer. However, you can set up email forwarding for a Shopify-managed custom domain once you’ve transferred the domain. It’s important to note that email forwarding is different from having a hosted email, as customers will be able to see your email whenever you respond to them.
That being said, since you’re already using GoDaddy, then it may be easier to look into one of their hosted email options. Or, if you prefer transferring your domain to Shopify, then you can also look at third-party email hosting services (eg. Zoho Mail or Google Workspace). If you’re looking for a free hosted email, then Zoho Mail offers a forever free plan for email hosting on a single domain.
