Can I get a refund after closing my online store?

I’m requesting a refund on closing my store.

First of all, we are sorry to see you go - was there any particular reason you decided to close your store? Do feel free to let me know and I will see if there is anything I can help you with.
However, if you’re certain that you want to close your store, it will be necessary to do that in order to be eligible to receive a refund. I will outline the steps for you here in case you have not done this already:

  1. Log in to your store as the store owner.

  2. From your Shopify admin, click Settings, and then click Plan and permissions.

  3. In the Store status section, click Sell or close store.

  4. Click Close store.

  5. Enter your password to continue.

  6. Then select a reason from the drop-down menu and then click Close store. To confirm that your store is closed, you can go to your store’s URL to check if your online store loads.

If you don’t have a Plan and permissions page in your Shopify admin, then follow these steps to cancel your plan:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Plan.
  2. Click on Cancel subscription or Pause or cancel subscription.
  3. Review the options to pause your subscription, or sell your store. If you still want to cancel, then click Cancel subscription and close store.
  4. Select a reason for the cancellation, and then click Continue.
  5. Enter your password, and then click Close store.

Finally, once the store is fully closed, please contact our support here so that we can look into a refund for you. The reason that you need to go through that link is because we are currently unable to access your account information through the Shopify Community.

I already closed my store, and was billed on the 24th, same day I closed.
No sales, so just closed the store.
