I opened a store here with a free trial a few months back. I didn’t discover the free trial is expired and the monthly subscription charges have been deducted for the last few months. I haven’t made any listing or product sales. Can you please refund my subscription charges? I already closed the shop because I am not yet prepared to run one, but I plan to return shortly.
you can request a refund for the subscription charges by contacting Shopify Support directly. They will be able to assist you with your refund request and provide guidance on how to reactivate your store when you’re ready. You can contact Shopify Support through their website or through the support tab in your Shopify dashboard.
Generally speaking, a refund is not possible in cases such as this as the responsibility for ensuring the account is closed is with the account owner rather than with Shopify. However, with this being said, it is up to our billing department to make this decision so I would recommend reaching out to our live support to make a request for a refund of fees. I just want to set the expectation with you that in this case, it is unlikely a refund will be approved.
