can I provide different payment gateway for my international domains (subdomain)?

Like, I am using (.com) domain to sell locally, and I have to provide certain payment gateway just for my local customer.

But however, if I want to sell globally, I created another subdomain for international’s, can I change the payment gateway just for international’s customer? because I want provide PayPal payment for international customer, but I don’t provide PayPal for my local customer. So I am wondering if I can change the payment gateway particularly for each domains? If I use the international domains.

Thank you for getting in touch with your question. While our new Shopify Markets feature allows you to customize your store for different regions, you are not able to enable payment gateways for specific regions, countries, or customers. This means if you were to enable PayPal on your store, for example, all customers visiting the online store would be able to select this as a payment method.

The best you can do at this time is provide instructions on your site for customers to follow (e.g. “PayPal is not available for ___ region”), and hope that these instructions are followed. If a customer selects a payment method you did not wish for them to choose, you can always refund the order, contact the customer, and create a draft order so that they can pay again via a different method. I recognize that this is not an ideal solution but this is likely your best option at this time.

Hi @aniketpatil ,

Shopify Markets is still in its early access phase and has not yet had its full release, which should come in 2022. Once it has fully launched, Markets will be available globally and will not be restricted based on a merchant’s location. There are, however, some features that are only available to merchants using Shopify Payments (such as selling in multiple currencies).
