Me and my 17 year old son have joint bank account so can I use it for shopify?

You can absolutely use a joint bank account for your Shopify store if using Shopify Payments. That being said, if you are using a third-party gateway you will need to confirm with the gateway of your choice if that bank account is acceptable. Please let me know your location I can a list of the available gateways.
If you intend to use this bank account to pay for your Shopify bills, this would not be possible. Generally, we only accept major credit cards and PayPal in some regions. However, if you can let me know your location, I can provide the available payment options.
Lastly, keep in mind if using Shopify Payments we will require additional documentation to verify the Account Owner’s information. Additionally, the store will need to be in your name as you cannot use Shopify as a minor.
