Can I use Shopify to provide product fulfillment only?

Lots of ecoomerce sellers drain traffics from social media use shopify to sell and fulfill, so without orders on shopify it is hard to seperate fulfill alone.
I’d like to be able to build and host my own website, import products with
descriptions and images into the site and sell them from there. Also, have
those products dropshiped to customers.
