Hi @Hamiddd ,

Are you looking to use Payoneer to accept payments from customers on your online store? If so, that will depend on which country you are based in as different gateways are available in different regions. If you can confirm which country you are based in I’d be happy to confirm where or not Payoneer can be used as a payment gateway on your store.

If you’re using Shopify Payments in the United Kingdom, you’ll need to provide a full chequing account located in the UK with a British financial institution. We do not accept other types of accounts or non-chequing accounts.

I do not believe you’ll be able to use a Payoneer account to receive Shopify Payments payouts as a result, and would recommend you try to link another bank account if you are having issues.

The same rules I outlined in my last post apply to merchants wanting to use a UK Shopify Payments account regardless of where they are based outside of the United Kingdom. We require a British bank account provided by a UK-based financial institution to be linked to the Shopify Payments account in order for the gateway to be activated. Other information may also be requested by our Payments team for verification purposes.

We have lists of third-party gateways available to use for merchants in Zimbabwe and Trinidad & Tobago you can refer to for alternative options if these are the countries in which you are based.

If you’re looking to use Shopify Payments in either France or New Zealand, then you will not be able to use a Payoneer account to receive payouts. Systems that can be used to mimic a bank account in another country are generally not accepted.

You can read the Shopify Payments bank account requirements for both France and New Zealand on the Shopify Help Center.

It may be possible to use a Payoneer account or another virtual account when accepting payments via PayPal, so that may be worth looking in to. You can also refer to our list of payment gateways available in French Polynesia to see the other options available to you.

Hi,

from all the informations I’ve collected, you have to order a card from payoneer so you can enter your Card’s informations (bank infos) on Stripe (or any third-party checkout method integrated in shopify)

Payoneer is just an app but not an e-commerce related, checkout payment method etc. If you create an acc and look if you are in an eligible country, you’ll be able to order a card. Or you will have to receive $100 from their mass payout companies (Airbnb, Upwork etc…) or something else than e-wallets, personal account etc… (it’s in their help guide, look for it) to unblock it and THEN be able to order a card.

Look for the answers in their forum or community help guide, or send their customer service mails/messages on the app etc.

This is quite a sensitive discussion and as at the time to writing this response, Payoneer doesn’t have an that does this, but there’s a way out.

The only way out will be to integrate a third party App such as Stripe, 2Checkout, Skrill among others, from any of which you can easily add Payoneer Details and get the job done.

Hi @AK20 ,

You can find a list of all payment gateways available to merchant in Iraq here, and you can also see available options by heading to Settings > Payments in the Shopify admin. You would need to speak with your chosen payment gateway directly to ask if a Payoneer bank accounts can be linked up and used to accept payouts.

Hi @Billion_1 ,

It is not possible to use a Payoneer account to receive payouts through Shopify Payments, and a full checking account provided by a US-based financial institution must be provided. You will also need to provide a social security number (SSN) and a valid US address in order to open a Shopify Payments US account.

In terms of third-party payment processors, others may allow a Payoneer account to be linked but you would need to check that with the gateway directly. We have a list of gateways available for merchants in the United States and in Haiti that you can check out.
