I am looking for a payment gateway for my e-commerce business startup. We be will be operating a skill game for charitable causes. Do Shopify accept companies that run games of skill,? as I am discovering many gateways do not.

Thank you for reaching out to the community forums with your question. I understand that you want to know more about what services you can sell in order to use Shopify Payments. Are you able to provide more information on the games of skill customers would be participating in? I can say that games that are considered gambling are generally not supported but each store and product is unique so I can’t be sure.
The best thing to do in a situation like this is to create the detailed product(s) on your store and set it to draft/unpublished. From there you can reach out to our live support and ask that the product details be escalated to our “Risk” team for review. Our business operations team that handle these reviews will be able to look at the product and let you know if Shopify Payments is a suitable gateway for your business.
