Can we expand notes into the checkout page?

My client wants to add a “note to seller” to the checkout page.

We already have this on the cart page but the client feels that this is not as visible as it could be. I have two questions.

Is it possible to expand the notes into the Checkout?

Was this a feature in the past that was removed?

Can you confirm which Shopify plan you are using?
Because with Shopify plus plan you can add custom Text field on Checkout page

The standard version (€79 a month), with POS.

So, this was never an option, this is what I thought, my client disagrees, thanks for your help Ankesh.
