Can You Automate Product Additions Onto Your Shopify Store?

Hi all, I am fairly new to asking questions on Shopify so please forgive any faux pas I may make.

I have a website with 30k+ pages, most of which are products, and I’d like to see if we can automate adding products to the site.

In the simplest terms I will be quoting my boss verbatim:
“How can we make it so we can just press a button, point to where we want the products to go on the site, and then just bulk upload like 30 products at a time?”

@Sandqt There are 2 ways to do this:

  1. Create a Private App
    You’ll need a Shopify expert with this. I also recommend setting up a staging store that is an exact copy of your live site. This way, all work can be done and tested in the staging environment first. Since you’re dealing with a large catalog, it’s important to thoroughly test everything in staging before deploying to production.

  2. Use any Bulk import app like Matrixify

I’m going about the method of creating a private App, I’ve already developed a script that will read information off a CSV then upload that information into my Shopify Store.

How can I go about recruiting an expert to help out as well? Is this a paid service via Shopify?

As for Apps like Matrixify, we would prefer to leave these off our site for now.
