I have created some emails in the Email app.
I want to edit them, but when I click edit, it just stays in “view Only”.
How can I edit the emails?

A user encountered an issue where emails in the Email app remained stuck in “View Only” mode when attempting to edit them.
Troubleshooting attempts:
These standard solutions did not resolve the problem.
Resolution:
The user successfully fixed the issue by exiting the email to force it back to ‘draft’ status, then reopening it. This restored full editing capabilities.
The issue is now resolved.

HI, if it’s stuck in “View Only” for no reason:
Try clearing cache or switching browser (Chrome incognito usually fixes it).
Make sure you have Admin access on the store — staff accounts with limited permissions can’t edit marketing emails.
Thanks for your help. Unfortunately that did not work. I cleared my cache and tried in incognito.
However, I found a solution. I exited the email, forcing it back to ‘draft’ and opened it again. Now I am able to edit it.
