Thank you for the screenshot. In your domain’s DNS settings you should be able to access and edit both the CNAME records and the A records for the domain. Do you have access to those settings? If yes, could you please share a screenshot of your current DNS settings in your domain admin? Feel free to hide any potentially sensitive information, I just would like to see what your current DNS settings are.
You should not need to edit any other records other than the www CNAME and the A record. Your name servers should be able to stay as the default provided by your domain host.
Based on the error message your DNS settings are still outputting "shops.myshopify.com.rugstract.com" and it should be just “shops.myshopify.com”. It can take up to 48 hours for DNS changes to take effect, so if you are confident that you have updated your DNS correctly it might just be a matter of time while the changes are implemented.
I am not able to see any images, just the text copy of the error message you are seeing.
Can you please try adding the images to a reply post here? You can use the camera icon at the top of the reply box to insert an image directly into your post. Thank you!
Thank you for the screenshots I can confirm that your domain host is still serving the incorrect CNAME record as noted in the error message. You can confirm this also using a tool like this one: Network Tools.
From your screenshots your setup looks correct and it is just a matter of waiting for the domain host to finish updating the DNS for your domain. There is no way to expedite this process and it generally takes 48 hours for the changes to apply. If you are still seeing that the CNAME record is not being served properly then only your domain host will be able to assist with making the correct change.
