Hey there,
I’d love to get some help, I cannot connect my domain to my site. An error message pops up saying the domain is currently managed by another shop.
I know this can be fixed in the back-end by a Shopify engineer, I just need someone to contact me regarding this issue to kickstart the process 
I can’t seem to be able to contact the support from my account which is a little frustrating.

I’m hoping I can get help
I’m new to Shopify and I’m having issues connecting my domain. An error message pops up letting me know that the domain is already in use by another Shopify account. I did check with my domain provider and I do own the domain, so they think it’s something to do with Shopify.
Anyway, when I head to the support page and try to select chat or email, another error message pops up asking me to select a store to get support. I scan select my store after clicking on the link, but then I keep being redirected to the general ‘Contact Support’ page with no option to chat or email. I have tried to get around it for a few hours now, I don’t get why I don’t have access to the chat…
I’d just love to at least get an email address - can anyone help?

If you’re receiving the error message ‘‘This domain is currently managed by a different shop’’ it could mean that you have used that domain on another store and forgot to remove it.
If you’re not sure what the name of that old store is, you can find it by entering your email address here. You may have used an old email address to open that store as well, so you might need to try a few email addresses before you can source the store.
Of course, if you do not have any luck with that or if your store is no longer active, we can help you find the store and disconnect the domain against proof of evidence. Let me know and I will send you an email.
