Can't get a refund for unused POS Pro subscription, any advice?

We recently within the last couple weeks purchased the POS Pro to use in our physical store location. Since we pay for our Shopify website subscription yearly we were charged for a year of POS Pro. Unfortunately, the POS Pro platform does not work for our business. We have talked to numerous Shopify chat / phone agents for help and it just do what we need it to do. We asked for a refund or credit for the the remaining 11 months, but was told they don’t offer refunds?

Anyone else have a issue with not getting a refund?

We would have paid monthly, but that was not an option, so we now we have paid for a year that will be wasted. I’d be happy to receive some sort of credit or applying it to upgrade our website.

Anyone have any insight?

Having same issue NO where does it say your annual plan remaining balance goes away completely if you deactivate your store!!! I hate that NO real people support this any more. I cannot even reactivate my store it wants the entire plan repaid Not even where I left off!!!
