Cant Load products in Shipping Set Up Section

Hi there

I wonder if anyone can help, I have been pulling my hair out for two days now and am at a loss now.

I have just started to set up my new shop and have so far loaded about 50 products across 5 categories all showing as active and in stock. Added all the shipping rates etc which all look good. The problem I have is the section in shipping profile which says add products isn’t showing any of my products so the choose from box is empty. As O can’t add products it’s not letting me check out on the test cart.

Any ideas as to how I can get the products to show in this section would be gratefully received.

Thank you for sharing those details about what you are seeing right now when you try to test your checkout. There could be a few reasons why your products are not showing up in the shipping profile. I’ll list them below for you to double check on.

  • Are the products digital or set to have no shipping required in the product details? You can confirm this by following these steps:

    • From your Shopify admin, go to Products > All products.

    • From the Products page, select a product or create a product.

    • In the Shipping section of the product page, uncheck This is a physical product.

    • Click Save.

  • Is the product set to available for the Online Store sales channel and is it still in a draft state?

  • Are your products shipping rates setup through the default shipping profile or a secondary profile you created yourself? All products not manually moved to a new profile will stay in the default shipping profile as long as they are available and not in a draft state.

All our products are physical so that box is ticked. All the products are active and in stock. Only have 1 shipping profile and it has no products?

Any thoughts?

Thank you so much for the screenshots! For some reason it looks like your store does not have the default shipping profile available. Which I haven’t seen happen before.

You can see what I am referring to in the embedded video in our Help Center that showcases how to setup your shipping profiles: Shipping profiles · Shopify Help Center. It is possible that your account is part of a beta rollout of a new setup for the shipping rates but I can’t say for sure without having a closer look.
