Hello - I was using a non-Shopify (Ocean) theme, and just updated to the Impulse theme. So I’m on Shopify 2.0 where I wasn’t before.
I am learning to manage metafields, specifically to create a filter sidebar on my products and collections.
On some products, it seems to be working fine. On other products, metafields are missing. Specifically the Category Metafields - such as color, and collection are just not showing up on some products.
I think it’s my older products that I set up a few years ago that are not working, and newer ones are. But all of the products appear to have the same ‘default product’ template being used so I can’t figure out why some products would just not have some fields show up.
My site is www.catchastarfineart.com and the only section I’ve tried to assign metafield data to so far is the Beach | Coastal collection. I went through every product and assigned data but more than half of them did not have the options show up.
I’m going to try to attach screenshots showing how some products have all of the metafield options and some don’t.
Any help appreciated - I don’t know code but I’m teachable 
I can follow instructions for adding snippets etc if you talk kinda slow. Thanks so much!
