Changing the Image Banner on a theme template

Hi,

I’m sorry if this is too basic. I’m still learning all this stuff! I wanted to see if there’s a way to use a template on more than one page on my site but change the image in the Image Header. Is this possible or does each page need to use a different template if I want the image to be different?

Hi @eskimoquinn ,

You’ll need to either create multiple templates for each page or customize the theme code to use images from metafields. This way, the section can be more dynamic.

You can try using the dynamic source to use dynamic image

Hi again!

I’m trying to do this for a collection page now, but not seeing the option to add metafields that is there on the regular pages. Is it possible to do the same for a collection?
