Compare at price is not appearing

Hi, my compared at price is not appearing in my online store. I found that it could be something with my theme code, but I’m new to this. So if anyone know how to fix it, I would be grateful. Here is link to my store

Some of us where not able to get Comparison pricing to show up, even after your suggestion to UNHIDE it. Do you have any other ideas or thoughts for a solution?

I got it working… you have to click on the product (or variant) itself, after you hit edit prices, you’ll see a new window with all prices there. Seems odd to just not have it visible on the Edit Prices window.

What do you mean? I have the same problem I can’t see compare at price next to my products price when editing and I have 2 variants is it because of that or something else. I would really appreciate it if you could help me. maybe screenshot?

See if this helps…

Dear Shopify,

I can see the compare-at prices, and they are NOT hidden.
But should this work automatically in the EEA (European Economic Area) where the compare-at price is based on the lowest price for the last 30 days for each product?

Shall I remove the manual price for each product from the “Compare-at Price” section for this to work automatically?

Thanks!

Hi there, @VortexVR . Thanks for following up on this thread. We’re a bit unclear of your question here. Are you looking to have your ‘compare at’ price showing? If so, it looks like it’s showing as expected as per the screenshot you shared, as we can see the previous price greyed out and struck through. Are you trying to hide these prices? If so, you can toggle the button you’ve shown via your additional screenshot.

As per the resource you shared, Shopify provides you with the tools you need to comply with the ‘European Price Indication Directive’, but it does not do these things automatically for you. You need to follow along with the steps outlined in the resource you linked to ensure that you’re displaying the information you need to in order to be compliant.

Hi, shopify team already answered my question and helped me to solve my
problem.

Hello Imogen,

Ok, according to the Omnibus EEA directive, I must show the lowest price from the last 30 days, additionally to the current price.

Is my understanding correct that Shopify only gives a recommendation and suggestion to use the “Compare-at price”, but there is no logic implemented into Shopify that knows what the lowest price has been during the last 30 days, is that correct?

You are just giving a recommendation to use the “Compare-at price”, thats it?

If I know the exact answer, than maybe we can build an app that will check for prices each day, and than calculate an average and update the “Compare-at price” field automatically.

Or, can I have a third field with a text explaning that “this is the lowest price within the last 30 day” or similar?
