Two identical Shopify stores with identical products. The only difference is the currency.
a) Shopify Store for Europe with Euro currency.
b) Shopify Store for Switzerland with CHF currency.
For both stores we have installed the Facebook app. But now we have the problem that both stores synchronize the products into the same catalog. This leads to masses of false messages because of duplicate ID’s.
Does anyone have the same problem and a suitable solution for it?
to suggest a solution to your issue here, I just need to know one thing, do you use different accounts on social media too? like a separate Facebook page and Instagram account for each store?
if yes, then your issue is easy to fix, because all what you need to check if the right data source is feeding the right catalog, and I can definitely help you with your issue in case you couldn’t.
but if you are using one page on Facebook and one Instagram account then this can be a little bit complicated because the easiest way actually would be to link one store, and create a redirection in case someone tries to access your website from another country.
