To share some context, the checkout is a secured page that allows for limited customization. This is due to security reasons, which ensures the protection of both customers and merchants. While I can completely understand how this may not be ideal, I recommend checking out our Shopify Checkout documentation for a complete list of what you can currently change.
If you are currently on a Shopify Plus plan, the checkout.liquid can be made accessible to you to complete limited customizations. We have a great Developer Documentation that touches more on this and recommend checking it out.
I will however, share this feedback with our Developers as we are always looking for ways to improve the platform and appreciate the feature suggestion.

My payment icons disappeared from my product page after I updated the Dawn theme. Now is just says “Check Out Securely With” and you can’t delete that and I can’t find how to add the icons back there. There is no block to delete or edit. What’s the fix for this?
