Customer Notification emails: Change 'Tip' to 'Donation'

Hi, hoping someone can help with this.

I have changed the word ‘Tip’ to ‘Donation’ on our checkout page.

However, I don’t know how to make the same change to notification emails the customer receives post purchase; Order confirmation emails etc.

Could someone please help? We’re using Dawn 2.0.

Hi @gbmangione You can change the text in any email in shopify.

Please follow the steps to change it.

  1. Login in shopify admin.
  2. Click on the Settings-> Notifications
  3. Scroll down and you will find bunch of emails
  4. Click on email you want to edit.

I am struggling to find how to change the word ‘Tip’ to ‘Donations’ in all email notifications.

For example: Settings, notifications, order confirmations, edit code. Do I change the word between Tip ?

Hi @gbmangione Yes you are correct you need to change the Tip word written in between Span to Donation.
