Deactivating store "Server error" message

Trying to deactivate a store that was did not work out for me.

I’ve tried clearing cache and history, using another browser and going incognito. I always get the same “Server error” message.

How can I deactivate this store?

So far, I understand you’ve tried multiple troubleshooting methods in an attempt to deactivate your store. Have you tried using another device or using the Shopify Mobile app?

If you’ve exhausted all options above, I recommend creating a support request via the Shopify Help Center so we can assist you with cancelling your subscription and closing your store. To speed up the process, I’ll share the steps below that you can follow in the help center.

  • Log in to your store via the Shopify Help Center.
  • Select Account > Pause or close your store from the topics provided.
  • On the following page, please select one of our available contact options.
