Different pictures for products in the "collections" tab

Please help!
I’ve added a product with three variants - leash for dogs, collar, and collar+leash, as depicted in the screenshot.

Subsequently, I included it in the ‘Leash’ and ‘Collars’ collections.

However, when visitors access these collections, they encounter the same image for both ‘collars’ and ‘leash,’ which seems inconsistent.

Is there a method to make the product display a specific image for each collection, given that I’ll be incorporating numerous variations with different colors?
Alternatively, are there any apps that offer this functionality, or do you have any other recommendations to address this issue?"

I don’t believe there’s any way to do this without some theme code edits.

My suggestion is to break the variants into 3 separate products (1 for collar, 1 for leash, and 1 for the collar+leash bundle).

I thought about this option, it remains as a backup but I would like to do it the way I want. Several options on one product page.

Of course, if changing images for each collection, a different photo from one product, is impossible without coding, then it’s not worth it ?
