A phishing scam is targeting Shopify store owners through emails that appear to come from admin@email.shopify.com. The fraudulent emails request recipients to “Confirm my business details” and look highly convincing.

Verification: Shopify has officially confirmed this is a scam email. Store owners should be cautious of similar messages and avoid clicking verification links in unsolicited emails, even when they appear to originate from official Shopify domains.
I received an email from admin@email.shopify.com asking me to verify my ‘Confirm my business details’. Something didn’t feel correct about it.
It was sent to my shop email address and not my Shopify account email address, looked very legit.
Shopify have conformed it was a scam.
