Email Personalization do not work in either of our stores

When we create email campaigns in shopify, using the shopify Email App, the personalizations do not work.

The end result is that they show up as {first name} or (email} in the recipients inbox.. This s a complete embrarassment.

Shopify Support has not offered any help, only links to useless articles that provide no help.

Use any third party app like Klaviyo or Omnisend to setup your email marketing automations and from Shopify email setting pause your Shopify particular emails that you want to send through other apps.

Are you telling me to stop using Shopify Email and start using a 3rd Party
app??

Yes you can with Klaviyo or Omnisend or any third part email marketing apps.

If you want advanced setup of emails according to your brand identity go with Klaviyo I suggest.

Is anyone else experiencing issues with personalizations?

I know I can buy a 3rd party app, but the native solution is part of the
product I pay for - and therefore should work.
