Experiencing issues with the new POS update?

Is anyone havinf trouble with the new update of the POS? None of out product pictures are showing up, its very slow and worst of all none of items that we have that have a variant are showing up right- normally whwn you scan an item with a variant the ap asks you to then choose the corresponding variant. the new POS is just choosing one every time which is wreaking havoc on our inventory. After almost 2 weeks of talking with them they have still not fixed it and I am loosing my patience- no way to contact the developers either. Anyone have any ideas?

Just like almost every other update they have ever put out this one is horrible! No noticeable benefit but plenty of blatantly obvious problems that should have been caught in 5 mins of product testing before forcing this garbage on their customers.

The load times are slower which is annoying but whatever. The real issues are not being able to add a new customer the same way. Now when you type in a customer name and it searches your customer list and does not find them you click the add new customer, it prefills in the name you typed saving time like the previous version BUT now you cant save the customer without first deleting their name and retyping the first and last name. That is an unbelievable oversite that should never happen. I had to figure out that work around myself too, otherwise the save button stays grayed out and you are just stuck staring at the screen while your customer stands there waiting.

Second on the unbelievable new “improvements” is that they changed the location of the cash entering screen which is now lower behind the keyboard requiring you to minimize the keyboard after entering in the cash amount instead of just clicking the button. Just another example of the tech team changing things for no reason and never actually using the product themselves or doing any kind of product testing before forcing this junk on your customers

Hi,
While you are waiting for the fix to this new update, it might be a good idea to check if you can downgrade the POS app to an older version, where things were working how you wanted them to be. Do you have any option to downgrade the POS app on your device?

we tried to do that-we actually found an old ipad that had the older version on it. it worked for a bit but then it too started getting very buggy.

I agree… it is terrible ! Have you tried making a return and had to look up the receipt yet ? Time consuming going through every order that has the same numbers as the receipt. I had to look at 25 orders to find the correct item , while the customer was waiting ! Screwing up our inventory as well and when you are in the middle of return the screen is shifting items and reordering them, while you are in the middle of a transaction.

Problems here too. We use customer view app and now it won’t connect, do they even test their software at all before they push it? If they do their entire QA department needs to be fired. I now have a useless tablet until they fix this issue.

I can’t believe over the last month that they haven’t made ANY updates to improve this. Worst update to the app that I can remember! And now the website on desktop is also impossibly slow. Terrible, terrible, terrible!
