Facebook Shop Shows Free Shipping on Products from Shopify

I’m having issues with Facebook Shop showing a “Free Shipping” tag on them and I’m not able to remove it.

Here is a list of settings that I have or things I have seen:

  1. My Facebook shop is set to check out on Shopify.

  2. I have free shipping on orders over $125 set up on my Shopify shop.

  3. I tried going into Facebook Commerce manager and clicked on “Promotions” and I don’t have any. I also clicked on Settings/Shipping and the link redirects me to Shopify (since my checkout is set to Shopify so there are no settings on Facebook to change.

  4. On Shopify, I tried creating a dummy local zone (based on a previous poster who said that had worked for him) but I’m not able to create one since I already had one created for local pickup.

  5. I tried deleting the local pickup and adding a dummy local but that did nothing to remove the Free Shipping tag on Facebook.

  6. I noticed that it only shows this tag on mobile, not on desktop.

  7. When people share the shop item on Facebook, the tag disappears, so it only shows on people’s Feeds (not shared, direct show) and on the actual Facebook business page.

  1. I did add a new theme to my store recently, but themes do not interact with admin changes to shipping. I tried switching back to my old theme to see if that might have been the issue but it still shows the tag.

I saw another post about this issue that was supposedly resolved (https://community.shopify.com/c/shopify-discussions/facebook-shopify-store-showing-free-shipping-on-everything/m-p/1386688#M267364), but I tried all of those possible solutions and none worked, so I’m back at square one on resolving this issue. Any help is much appreciated.

We have the same problem. It shows Free Shipping on every single items on Instagram and Facebook (on desktop as well). Ig and fb shops are connected to the Shopify.

Even if we set up Free Shipping option over $40 in the Facebook app in Shopify, it doesn’t provide free shipping on checkout in Instagram shop. When customer checks out on ig/fb it pulls our regular shipping rates from Shopify store so it doesn’t pull shipping rates (standard, expedited, rush) and free shipping option from Facebook app in Shopify.

We haven’t changed theme for a long time, so it is probably not theme related.
