First Impression Feedback Needed

Hi everybody! :waving_hand:

I’m very excited to have joined the Shopify community and to finally be working towards making one a big dream of mine a reality.

SHORT INTRODUCTION
I’m a total jewellery-aholic, but one thing I’ve always struggled with is finding beautiful, high-quality jewellery at a reasonable price.

Fine jewellery can be incredibly expensive, while more affordable jewellery often means compromising on quality, materials, design, or longevity.

That is exactly the gap I’m hoping to bridge with FEROYAL through a curated selection of demi-fine jewellery: pieces that feel elevated and special without necessarily carrying traditional fine-jewellery price tags.

SUPPORT NEEDED
I’d really appreciate your first impressions of the website.

When you visit FEROYAL for the first time, I’d love to know:

  • What is your immediate impression of the brand?
  • Is it clear what FEROYAL is and what we offer?
  • Does the website feel trustworthy?
  • Do the products and pricing feel coherent?
  • Is there anything that would stop you from purchasing?
  • Is there anything confusing, missing, or that you would change?
  • Does the overall brand feel distinctive and memorable?
  • Would you visit - and potentially purchase from - the website if you would hear about it from a friend?

Please feel free to be completely honest as constructive criticism would be incredibly valuable to me at this stage.

BUSINESS MODEL
Dropshipping / curated e-commerce.
Rather than manufacturing my own collection at this stage, I curate products from different suppliers that I believe fit the FEROYAL aesthetic, positioning and vision.
WHY DROPSHIPPING?
The simple answer is: limited starting capital.

I’m building FEROYAL from the ground up with essentially no inventory/marketing budget. Dropshipping allows me to begin developing the brand, test different product categories and price points, understand what customers respond to, and hopefully generate enough revenue to gradually reinvest into the business.

Long term, my ambition is to use what I learn from this stage and ideally build liquidity to further develop the product offering, strengthen supplier relationships and eventually expand the brand beyond its current model.

OBJECTIVE
My current objective is to build brand awareness, traffic and eventually conversions, while introducing people to the wider FEROYAL World.

I’m currently trying to grow organically through platforms such as Pinterest and Instagram, while continuing to improve the website, product selection and overall brand experience.

A NOTE ABOUT THE CONTENT
Because FEROYAL currently operates through a curated dropshipping model, I do not physically hold most of the products myself.

This means I cannot produce original product photography and video content. For now, I work with imagery supplied by my suppliers and also use AI-assisted creative content to help communicate the broader visual identity and lifestyle behind FEROYAL. And that lifestyle is an important part of what I’m trying to build.

FEROYAL is a world created for women who believe that beauty belongs in the everyday.

It is not limited solely to jewellery, the FEROYAL World also encompasses adornments, interiors, and lifestyle pieces, all curated around one simple idea: You do not need a crown to feel like royalty. For us, modern royalty is a state of mind.

FEROYAL stands for “Feel Like Royalty” , which is ultimately the feeling and message I want the brand to convey.

Thank you in advance to anyone who takes a few minutes to visit the website and share their thoughts. :white_heart:

Hello @FEROYAL, the hero and category imagery feels genuinely elevated, that part is working. The gap is pricing coherence: your Royal Arrivals row jumps from a €29.99 chain to a €1,125 necklace right next to each other, which reads more “mixed dropshipping catalog” than “curated demi-fine collection”. I’d group products into 2-3 clear tiers (e.g. everyday under €80, statement €150-400) so the range feels intentional. Also worth adding a shipping/returns line in the footer next to Terms and Privacy, there’s nothing there yet to reassure a first-time buyer, and “CUSOMER CARE” in the footer has a typo. Nice foundation overall. If this helped, please mark it a solution

Ecom_swift_LLC’s tier point is the right one to fix first. I’d add one that sits just behind it, because your descriptions deserve better than they’re getting.

I read all 214. None of them repeat, none read like supplier copy, and they average around 750 characters, which is rare on a curated catalogue. But the meta description field is empty on every product, so none of that writing is what turns up in a search result. Shopify falls back to the first 320 characters of the description and just stops. 212 of your 214 sit at exactly that length, 126 of them stop in the middle of a word, and not one of the 214 lands under 160 characters, which is roughly where a snippet gets cut anyway. The Princess Heart set ends on “finished in an ele”. The Diana bracelet ends on “stack with your every”.

So a first time visitor from Google sees half a sentence about materials and measurements rather than the line you actually wrote. It’s the search engine listing box on each product in the admin, and it’s lifting one good sentence out of copy you already have rather than writing anything new. 214 is a lot, but your bestsellers would cover most of the traffic.

Worth flagging two specific things I found when checking the site directly:

A pricing display bug, not just a coherence issue. Several products show “Regular price €0,00 EUR Sale price €X” instead of a normal price display, the crossed-out €0,00 is a broken compare-at price showing on multiple products (Aurora Emerald Necklace, Duchess Moissanite Pavé Hoop, Lumière Pearl Necklace, several others). This looks like a leftover empty compare-at field rather than an intentional discount, and it reads as a technical error rather than a real price, worth going into each product and either setting a genuine compare-at price or clearing that field entirely so it doesn’t display.

Your featured “Royal Arrivals” row is mostly sold out. Of the six products in that homepage section, four show “Sold out” (Crown Jewel Cascade Earrings, Jasmine Statement Necklace, Sunny Heart Set, Lumière Pearl Necklace). Leading with a curated “what’s new and desirable” section where two-thirds of the items can’t be purchased undermines the exact impression that section is meant to create, it’s worth swapping in in-stock pieces for that homepage placement specifically, even if the sold-out items stay listed elsewhere in the catalog.

Also confirmed the footer typo already mentioned, “CUSOMER CARE” is still live.

On the dropshipping/pricing-coherence concern more broadly: your actual price range runs from about €30 to over €1,100 within the same “Royal Arrivals” row, which is a wide enough spread that it’s worth deciding whether FEROYAL is positioning as accessible demi-fine (mostly €30-200) or genuinely reaching into fine-jewellery territory (€500+), since right now the homepage doesn’t signal which tier a first-time visitor should expect before clicking in, and that ambiguity is worth resolving deliberately rather than letting the product mix decide it by accident.

One gap the earlier replies don’t cover: buyer trust signals. In Settings > Policies, generate Refund, Shipping and Privacy policies, then link them in the footer menu via Online Store > Navigation. For dropshipping that matters more than usual, because delivery timeframes are the most common objection. Put the estimated window on the product page itself, not just in policy text.

Also keep AI imagery away from the product gallery. If lifestyle AI visuals sit next to supplier photos inside the same slider, shoppers can’t tell which is the actual item, and that mismatch is where disputes start. Use AI for banner and brand sections, real supplier shots for products. Finally, confirm there’s a Contact page with an email you actually monitor.

Thank you for your valuable Feedback @Ecom_swift_LLC.
I agree on the pricing gap with you. Please note however that pricing is very much depending on the supplier’s original pricing, which is solely the way I can recover production costs. How to fix that?
The collection is indeed curated by me, however the pricing is not something I can fix really as I need to be able to pay for the suppliers to produce the goods once ordered and make a little margin on them.

I have included RETURNS/EXCHANGES POLICY in the Terms & Conditions but I’ll gladly take note of advice and build a separate section for it under the CUSTOMER CARE column. CUSOMER CARE will likewise be fixed.
Much appreciated.

PS: I marked it as a solution since you have been the first one to support me (which I very much appreciate), however some of my questions are still left unanswered. Would it be too much trouble for you to address them with a one liner directly?

  • What is your immediate impression of the brand? :white_check_mark:
  • Is it clear what FEROYAL is and what we offer?
  • Does the website feel trustworthy?
  • Do the products and pricing feel coherent?
  • Is there anything that would stop you from purchasing? This is a special one I’d like to get feedback on. As my next topic support will focus on how to lead Traffic to the website.
  • Is there anything confusing, missing, or that you would change?
  • Does the overall brand feel distinctive and memorable?
  • Would you visit - and potentially purchase from - the website if you would hear about it from a friend?

My most geniune appreciation for your expertise and valuable feedback :folded_hands: :white_heart:

Hi @FEROYAL

Before answering your questions, I would advise you to check
Store Feedback where you will find posts that merchants in a similar situation like you made. A lot to learn from it and a lot of topics to go through.

Also, dropshipping is still hard. And everyone has to start from 0, but when you say limited starting capital, you must be aware that you have to do a lot of things on your own. To make it a bit unique to compete with others that sell the same items. But how can you vouch for quality, craftsmanship, and other big words AI-generated for your site, when you did not hold it in your hand? “Curated” word that you can hide behind, but I think it should be clearer to customers where your products come from. I mean it is not a big secret.

Now, onto your questions:

  • What is your immediate impression of the brand? My first thought is that you are trying to sell some image and words, but the actual case is different. Royal, but the homepage has a lot of products under $100. That does not feel royal at all, plus the images are square; I know it is the free Dawn theme, a bit old now. So neither the theme nor the layout feels royal, luxury.
  • Is it clear what FEROYAL is and what we offer? To me, yes, a dropshipping jewelry store. You could add more sections with main categories on the homepage; your menu is good in that sense.
  • Does the website feel trustworthy? To me, not at all. What are trust signals you have? Payment logos in the footer? That looks default not sure you cover all those options. And with that it turns into a red flag. But that is a small thing compared to a lack of business information: some registration number, VAT/Tax ID, but also no address, phone, or even email. If you can not at least provide all this, how can you ask customers to leave their personal information plus credit card info? "For issues constact us via Instagram Direct message ??? You can’t be serious? Maybe I am too old, but that is not professional at all. Product page trust signals - none. No reviews, no info about shipping/returns, some customer reassurance logos. And finally the “About us”, that AI-generated text looks good for search engines, maybe but for real customers does not connect. Who are you? Name, image, experience. You made jewelry before; you design; go to some art school. What? You say here “jewellery-aholic”; how come? There is no credibility on the About Us page, just wishful thinking and some random words. Plus, I do not see any links to social networks. Instagram one from contact is, well, meh; a lot of clearly AI-generated images
  • Do the products and pricing feel coherent? As @Ecom_swift_LLC noticed, having that of big gap means you probably need to make 2 collections and do not mix products below $100 with one over $500. But for prices, you say the supplier dictates it, yes, that is always the case, but here is one example CROWN JEWEL CASCADE EARRINGS – FEROYAL $651, now, to me, that looks like $168 on discount, though https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006074901282.html plus first random store $375 Moissanite Bridal Pear Cut Drop Dangle Earrings | Ring Deluxe Fine Jewelry . So tell me where the difference is.
  • Is there anything that would stop you from purchasing? Yes, trust questions sum it up.
  • Is there anything confusing, missing, or that you would change? Confusing, no. Missing, like mentioned, bussiness/contact details plus something personal. Collection pages could use a description and a few more sections. Same on product page. I would change a lot, paid theme, better/real text; images are fine, but better to be unique in the future.
  • Does the overall brand feel distinctive and memorable? Nope. You tried to give it a story; I hope it was not born in ChatGPT, but that is not enough.
  • Would you visit - and potentially purchase from - the website if you heard about it from a friend? I would visit, but like I mentioned before, I cannot give my info and credit card to a store I know nothing about.

Hope you do continue to work on your store. Running a store is hard and a lot of work, but from dropshipping seems like you need even more work. Learn and improve your store a bit by bit.

Here is one good example of a store in your niche that does a lot of things right. You will notice the differences. https://johngarlandtaylor.com/ Just a few quick notes: "Handmade British Jewellery
Quality You Can Feel

7000 five-star reviews | 90 day returns" then “40 YEARS OF EXPERTISE” that is a lot of trust signals in a few words, and something they can back up.

Good luck, and do post after a while to tell us how it goes and if you stumble on some issues.

Sure, quick ones: yes, it reads clearly as a jewelry brand. Trust is the one real gap - a proper contact page (real email/phone, not just IG DM) before anything else. That’s also your purchase blocker more than the products themselves. Nothing else confusing, just fill in the trust/returns pieces already mentioned. The photography already feels distinctive, the copy needs a rewrite in your own voice to match it. And yes, I’d visit and probably buy once that contact piece is there. Good luck with the traffic push!

@Ecom_swift_LLC Thank you for your honest review.
I’ll do my best to work on that Trust element. As I am using my free time to develop this dream of mine while studying and working a full time job, it will take some time, but I am very much willing to put the work in!
Your help has been highly valued and appreciated :folded_hands:

Hi @dropfeed ! Thank you for reaching out and for your valuable feedback :white_heart:

As I understand you agree with the point mentioned by @Ecom_swift_LLC concerning the price strategy. How to fix this considering is dropshipping and the original production price is not something i can fix?

As per the meta descriptions which I assume you refer to what Shopify calls the "Product metafields", thank you; I’ll look into that. It’s a major learning curve as I am learning as I go. No IT expert here, just a very passionate lady looking to build a little something of her own. A mindset shift, a concept, a world to be part of: “nobody needs a crown to feel like royalty everyday” My appreciation for your inputs. :folded_hands:

@VikashJ Hi and thank you for your inputs. I have taken the time to go through each and everyone of them

1) Pricing dispaly bug. I checked all shared products for your input: Aurora Emerald Necklace, Duchess Moissanite Pavé Hoop, Lumière Pearl Necklace and no pricing issue with the crossed out 0€ amount is displayed to me on the website. Where did you spot it exactly? Feel free to share a screenshot.

2) Your featured “Royal Arrivals” row is mostly sold out. As you can see from the screenshot above, nothing is sold out of the arrivals.

3) The CUSTOMER CARE in the footer has been rectified :white_check_mark: Thank you and to @Ecom_swift_LLC for pointing this out.
**
4) The Pricing Coherence:** here I agree with you and @Ecom_swift_LLC however not sure how to go about sorting this since I don’t have control over the original production price. Would you reduce the range to a smaller but closer price point? Any suggestions would be welcomed for me to think about…
Just for reference: The more royal pieces are designed-led, not price lead. The style is more bold and for special occasions and evenings (black background images), whereas more versatile everyday jewellery incl more fine and dainty pieces has the white background. Pricing very much depends on production costs, as the goal is once receiving an order I can be able to pay the manufacturer and make a margin that i can reinvest in the company. The goal would be to build enough capital to develop my own designs, but started with dropshipping to exactyl do that: build a starting capital. Maybe there is something to fix in my strategy on how to start building capital to develop my concept in a more refined way… Any feedback is welcome here.

Many thanks in advance for your time and kind support :folded_hands: :white_heart:

Dear @ahsandoesntcare thank you for reaching out and for your inputs. Your feedback is highly appreciated.

I hear you and will most certainly improve the policies section via the settings instead via simple pages - as I have done it so far.

To your Point on Delivery Timeframes: Delivery in dropshipping is also a painpoint as not something I have control over. I have to trust my suppliers/maufacturer for both QC and efficient order processing which includes delivery.

You guys are generally making me re-think the whole concept altogether and the fact that maybe dropshipping is not an optimal choice for a start-up.
I saw a lot of benefits, such as: low start up costs, no inventory issue, production and delivery is taken care of by the manufacturer and supplier. But the tradeoffs are the elements that are beyond my control including QC, shipping times and no control over pricing. I have to trust my parters for that.

Product Quality Testing
I have myself tested the proucts by placing some first oders for myself and friends including the GRADIENT SOVEREIGNTY NECKLACE, the REGAL MARQUISE MOISSANITE BRACELET, the DAINTY SPARKLE BRACELET and the SIGNATURE ROYAL PEARL STUDS and truth be told I am very impressed with their quality and use most of them on a daily basis and the more “wow” pieces on nights out. My friends also shared positive feedbacks on the product quality.

The use of AI
AI is mostly for social media use. AI images have the function of offering inspiration and create the FEROYAL World I envision and bring it to life. What the FEROYAL woman wears, does, her daily rituals, how she embraces this “feel like royalty” ethos and lifestyle. All product pictures displayed on the website are genuine though. AI is on the website solely limited to the Banners to create the FEROYAL atmosphere and immerge ppl into the FEROYAL World, as you well spotted.

To you last point, the Contact Page is indeed monitored by me and lands in the FEROYAL Email Inbox. All provided information our genuine and I am there to support the Shopping experience or answer questions of course. I can proactively reach out to supplier to clarify product information for instance, if need be. However as I don’t have a company phone I am not yet providing phone information. Any FEROYAL-related place including the Contact Us page or the Social Media DMs are for now the best place for ppl to reach out. This feedback is also relevant to you @Laza_Binaery in relation to the Contacts and Trust Signals.

@Laza_Binaery Thank you for your valuable insights.
I have gone in detail through your feedbacks:
1) Go through the Store Feedback section :white_check_mark: . Prior to creating my first topic I have taken my time there.

2) Dropshipping: product quality & curation
Dropshipping has proved to be harder than I thought for sure! Reason: others might sell the same product from the same manufacturer. I am very well aware of that but thought of dropshipping to start building starting capital that would allow me to develop my idea and my jewellery creations. I need to start somewhere and thought of utilising the help of competent manufacturer to research and “curate” a selection of products I like, so it is curated as I took the time to scout through tons of products and I can vouch for quality and craftsmanship because of how the product looks from the picture. I have enough expertise to understand quality and supplier pictures can be zoomed in and analyse in detail. On top of that as you will see from my previous comment i trialed and tested the products myself - not the full range of course - but placed and continue place orders from time to time to test out a different product first-hand. All the above is the work I do to curate and test the quality of the product as good as I possibly can.

3) Wording, Imagery & Product Price
The words and the image contribute to the creation of the FEROYAL world. I have been analysing different companies and without world and image it is impossible to build a world, convey a message and even describe products and what you do. So words and images are necessary and these are not AI generated. I build the concept myself and the words are purposely used much as the images to pull you into the FEROYAL World of Modern Royalty.
As per the products under 100 dollars that does not make it any less luxurious. The whole point of FEROYAL is offering great quality at great prices. If I spot a great quality product that thanks to the supplier production’s cost I can sell for less than 100dollars I am doing it and that is part of the FEROYAL ethos and goes to the benefit of the customer.

4) Trustworthiness
Trust signals I have include:
- Payment method flexibility - incl. Paypal, Credit Card and Klarna. (I will double check the payment icons displayed - my apologies if inaccurate but I am learning by doing - but ultimately the payment options offered will be visible at checkout)
- Valid means of Contacts: ppl can reach out via Instagram DMs or the Contact Form on the website which lands in the FEROYAL inbox. I am for the moment still unable to provide a phone number nor a phisical address as I don’t have any of these as of yet. I am still in my very early stages. Trust me when I say that based on my research there are some other small businesses out there that operate with just that and can do so succesfully.

Other inputs to your feedback on AI generated text:
1) No text in the Website inlc the About Us is AI generated. I got support from AI like everyone does nowadays for structure etc. but ultimately the content comes from me and relates to the World and Concept I aim to build.
2) FEROYAL wants to be known for FEROYAL. To your question “Who are you? Name, image, experience.” I don’t seek popularity in any shape nor form. I want FEROYAL to be know for FEROYAL, no founder Story. And once again, truth be told, there is many brands that operate this way where the founder does not seek attention nor fame. The About Us page is as such about FEROYAL not about the founder.
3) Social network link
There is a direct linking to the only social network I have currently opened which is instagram in the footer. Doing everything myself, while studying and working full time has its challenges and I am unable to manage tons of different social network. I am no influencer nor a content creator and the available time I have is not much. I have so far focused my efforts more on the website structure, product curation, introducing the World of feroyal and thereby the wording and explaining what FEROYAL is about.
4) Pricing
Myself and incl @Ecom_swift_LLC and @VikashJ strongly agree with you. I see the gaps but I am very much unsure of how to solve this TBH. The product is selected based on the design not on its production cost. How to go about sorting this out? I see also the links and I am very well aware what dropshipping means (= others can sell the same product) but I thought of it as an easier starting point to build liquidity that I can then use to develop my brand with brand-designed products. I have experience to do so just not the capital for the moment. I thought of dropshipping as a a launching ramp into building capital, but you guys are making me rethink my idea. Maybe dropshipping isn’t the right way afterall. So I take your feedback very much on board and will ponder on that.
5) The purchasing stopper: I get the trust but there’s no much more information I can share at this stage for contacts.
6) The Theme: I still very much like this one and again due to budget retrains I am keeping the start as low cost as it possibly gets. Later I will def. be thinking of a paid theme upgrade. But I need a star first.
7) Distinctive & Memorable Brand
I can guarantee that the Story is born from my own concept, not AI. What to improve to make it more memorable and distinctive? As it stands based on the feedbacks received so far it seems to me the product is the key element and as such dropshipping might need a re-evaluation.
8) Visit & Purchase
What more on FEROYAL would you want to know? Everything there is to know is explained within its website. I took my time to think of how to explain it best. It is not about the founder: FEROYAL will always be solely about FEROYAL. The products are likewise described in as in much details as I have at disposal, displayed with detailed pictures. I have an FAQ questions with all possible queries myself and myfriends could think about and that support the whole point of getting more information on the store and how it operates. What more about the store would you want to know?

I will continue indeed to work on it and I agree, it is not easy, not only the Shopify Website set up (wording, product information, meta information etc..) all of which I am learning as I go… but also dropshipping is harder than expected indeed and possibly not the best solution (as I had thought) to build a starting capital. Any suggestions?

I also looked into your good website example. What immediately stood out to me: The Website is not a relvant comparison to FEROYAL as it is handmade jewellery.

  • it is not dropshipping as they have full product collections such as the The Molly Collection | Our Best Selling Collection so it very much seems the products are their own.
  • since they produce the product they have full control on the pricing strategy, delivery times etc…
    - they are not a start up but much larger in size
    - they have a phisical shop and as such also a phone number.
    - they are a team, not a one-person team who manages the website and multiple social media accounts.

Not really a valuable website I can compare my concept and my dropshipping FEROYAL curated website at start-up level with to be honest. I appreciate the effort though.

This is actually a good thing. You should rethink it. It’s not a very good position. You’re now the middleman that is jacking up the price of otherwise obtainable and cheap jewelry. And you have no involvement… so you need to offer something besides ai images.

I will say that it’s better than the typical dropshipping site. At least you picked a niche and stuck to it. But you need to be honest with yourself, because later down the road you may find that you have wasted 6 months of advertising and got 3 sales…

Limited starting capital and a full time job are not reasons. They’re excuses. Plenty of successful businesses started small with only a handful of products. You don’t need to be a millionaire to buy a couple of each thing, and ship them out yourself, perhaps include a handwritten thank you note. People want that personal touch.

@Maximus3
Basically what you are saying is invest with your limited starting capital but make your products yourself. This way you are no longer the middleman. Even if you start with couple products.
Work and School are no excuses, and I am not mentioning them as such by any means. All I am saying is give me time and I’ll get there! :flexed_biceps:

That is indeed valuable Feedback! My most heartfelt appreciation.

@maximus3 One big challenge still remains though: Acquisition.

This issue is there whether it is dropshipping or myself directly manufacturing and delivering products! For this I have opened a new topic: Big Challenge for a Start-Up: Acquisition .
Feel free to share as many creative and low-cost ideas as you have got for new Start-ups.

Everybody in this Topic: @Ecom_swift_LLC @dropfeed @VikashJ @ahsandoesntcare @Laza_Binaery who has been so kind to provide me with their useful insights is of course also welcome to join! :white_heart:

Thank you for the detailed response but I have a few things to add.

For valid means of contact, yes, you have Instagram DM and a contact form. And you are active in replies, and that works. But think of all those small stores that just have, for example, email and a contact form. When they stop replying, what can customers do? Nothing - no leverage; scammers get away. Because of that, customers now seek more info and a more reliable way of contacting the store owner, even in some difficult situations. If you give more options be more upfront and honest, you get more trust from customers. Those two can work for a lot of customers but for some will not be enough.

It is not that you seek popularity and fame; to me at least, it is a sign that there is a human behind the brand, with real struggles and dreams. Someone that customers can identify with, understand, and connect. But it is true, there are a lot of brands that do not give much info about founders, but on the other hand, there are a lot of people that do say something personal. Again, as a way to connect to customers, not to be famous. For example, a mother-and-daughter brand of clothes, a couple with dogs for a pet shop, a mother and son with customized keepsake jewelry. All real examples from the community. It works for some; some choose just a brand, both valid.

And if you think that site is not relevant just because it is handmade jewelry, have phisical shop and a team, and not a valuable website for you I do not know what to say. Yes, it is different, and it is not dropshipping, a one-team, beginner startup, limited capital, but how many have you found that you know do well? If you can not learn from that website, I think you are missing a point. It does not matter that it is different; check sections and blocks, check text/content/images. Yes you have limited capital but if you work on your site and get on the level they are, you will be good.

Here is an example: their product page. Image gallery, nice images, good lighting, natural model, details. On rigght, noticeable product title, material, price, reviews (+1 trust signal). Same color, different product option. Short description, what product is in core, easy to remember. Noticeable add to cart. Shipping info (+1 trust signal), unique tagline for 90-day returns (+1 trust signal). Frequently bought together, good position, upsell. 6 accordions with info, some repeats but that way stay in customer mind (+6 trust signals). Then sections: product-unique FAQ, small message with contact (+1 trust signal). Customer reviews +10 trust signals); 2 image blocks again: customer reassurance and link to team +2 trust signals.

So do not tell me you would not want to have those blocks and sections and that they could help your product page to convert better. Yes, it is handmade; yes, they have a team; yes, they have a physical store, but they use all they have to present trust and credibility to customers. And yes, you are dropshipping and can use something you do not have, but focus on your strengths, and yes, only brand if you want, but sure, you can add half of those trust signals to your product page, no? Would it be better or not?

And it is true what you said; it is tough: “Doing everything myself, while studying and working full time has its challenges.” And you can not do all at once. I think a store that brings extra cash sounds good, and if it could be automated and bring passive income with little efford ti would be great. And everyone would be rich. But that is a trap of dropshipping, I think. It is still hard work, same as when you started handmade jewelry instead. The same work will wait: optimize pages, SEO, social networks. To me, running a store is another full-time job; you should be aware of that. And you can do it alone; you can to just a limited amount of work. But if you are interested in this, committed, and consistent, sales will come. You need to be patient and prepared for 6-12 months of work with not much to earn.

Good luck.

Thank you @Laza_Binaery for sharing your perspective on things.
I agree with you on providing more options to get in touch but it is something I will have to slowly build. I totally get your thinking process behind it and will ultimately want to achieve what you are saying. I am just kicking things off and getting them off the ground for now.

I get that saying more personal things is great for building connection to customers and build community. I will eventually share a little more to about the story behind the brand but don’t want to base the brand on my personal story really. I most certainly want to build trust and showcase that there is a human behind the brand with its dreams and struggles but the attention has to remain on the brand. Similar to the more contacts it will come later though and as you said this is a brand choice. I want the brand to be known for the brand and liked for its products, not because of the founder personal story.

The site you shared most certainly offers elements I can learn from but what I meant is that it is a very different thing from where I am at, my company style, size, etc.. Will I be inspired on some levels? of course! Can i use it as a true guideline? Not really, that is what I meant.
I see the text, content certain sections, blocks and design..etc… that is for sure ok, but not much more than that. For instance the reviews will also be something I’ll look into later since I am stuck at the prior stage of gaining visibility and directing traffic to my website.
I’ll certainly keep it in mind for some must haves and nice to haves on my website, all for the purpose of building trust and credibility. I’ll pick up from there as much as I can and my most heartfelt appreciation for sharing it with me! I didn’t mean to sound unappreaciative, I was just sharing my genuine thoughts.

I dont mind the hard work for dropshipping or from producing and deliverying products myself. I enjoy working as a matter of fact and even more so if I get to do it in a way that I choose and love! No complaining at all here; on the contrary. Shopify is an absolutely fabulous platform that enables even the smallest dream such as - my Community of Modern Royalty - to come to live! The goal is not passive income, is entrepreneurial drive! I’d love to make this my full-time job, but up until I manage to get visitors and conversions that is not going to happen.

I have already been thinking and working on this for 2 yrs now. That alone prooves that I am willing to put in wll more than 6-12 months of work, I am humbly recognising my limits and knowledge gaps and was very much excited about the Shopify Support Community for knowledge echanges and gathering insights and knowing what worked for others, what tips and tricks have someone’s experience lead to drive traffic for instance? I am willing to replicate and learn and take onboard any given feedback, including your valuable one, @Laza_Binaery .

I love criticism as this leads to improvement and growth more than any compliment on what is already good does. Once again many thanks for the honest feedbacks.
I’ll be taking some time to ponder all information that was shared in this Topic while starting to make some of the fixes you guys spotted. In other words I’d say that: Rome wasn’t build in a day  :flexed_biceps: :folded_hands: :white_heart:

On the pricing, you don’t need to change what anything costs. Tiering is only about what sits beside what, so splitting Royal Arrivals into two or three bands would handle it without touching a supplier.

And it isn’t metafields, those are custom data fields for your theme. What you want is the Search engine listing section at the bottom of each product page, and the Description field inside it. You’ve clearly found it already though, because 182 of your products now carry a proper written description of around 140 characters instead of the old 320 character cut, which is a lot of ground to cover in a day. 32 are still on the default if you want to finish the set. Amour Royale stops on weighs approxima.

Thank you all for your valuable feedbacks!! :folded_hands: :white_heart:
