Hello @almibazar ,
I am Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $6Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot. I am here to support you.
If you are experiencing a “Forbidden” error on your Shopify store, here’s how you can approach resolving this issue.
-
Check CNAME and A records
Verify that your CNAME and A records are correctly configured in your domain registrar’s settings. Ensure that the CNAME record points to your Shopify store’s URL and that the A records are properly set up according to Shopify’s guidelines.
-
Validate DNS propagation
After making any changes to your CNAME or A records, allow some time for DNS propagation to take effect. It usually takes a few hours, but in some cases, it may take up to 48 hours. During this period, the changes you made to your DNS records will propagate across the internet, enabling proper connectivity to your Shopify store.
-
Confirm SSL certificate installation
Ensure that your SSL certificate is correctly installed for your custom domain. Shopify provides SSL certificates for custom domains, and it’s crucial to ensure that it’s properly set up to establish a secure connection for your visitors.
-
Double-check Shopify settings
Within your Shopify store settings, make sure you have properly configured your domain settings. Check that you have entered the correct domain name and that the primary domain is set to the desired URL.
-
Reach out to Shopify support
If you have followed the above steps and are still encountering the “Forbidden” error, it’s advisable to contact Shopify’s support team for further assistance. Provide them with detailed information about the error message and the steps you have taken. They will be able to investigate the issue and help you resolve any potential CNAME or A record-related issues.
Resolving DNS-related issues may involve some technical aspects, so it’s better seek assistance from Shopify support for precise solutions tailored to your specific circumstances.
Hope this helps
